For a ride on lawnmower service, based on a 2-year-old machine, we would recommend budgeting around €160 – €250.

• Start up & test run
• Check general condition for damage
• Check battery
• Check tyre pressure & condition
• Inspect all belts, pulleys, fuel lines, cutting spindles, bearings and housings
• Check blade condition & sharpen or replace the blades as necessary
• Change oil and filter (if fitted)
• Clean, or change, air filter
• Clean or renew spark plug(s)
• Check full operation of machine & safety systems

Petrol Rotary Mower

A service for a 2-year-old petrol rotary lawn mower would cost around €80 – €100.. Service prices correct as of :- Season Beginning 2022

• Check machine starting
• Check overall condition of the machine
• Clean, sharpen & balance rotary blade
• Change engine oil
• Clean or change spark plugs as required
• Check fuel system
• Check, clean and lubricate the wheels
• Inspect wheel adjusters
• Test run of the machine, with full operation and safety check

As part of the service, there is around 1 and a half hours of labour to complete the work and checks. This is priced at €80 + VAT.

Petrol Chainsaw

A petrol chainsaw would normally cost between €65 – €90 to service, based on a 2-year-old machine. Please note that a service does not include sharpening. Sharpening is available at an additional cost, please call us for more information. Service prices correct as of Season Beginning 2022

• Clean or renew fuel filter as necessary
• Clean or change spark plugs depending on the condition
• Check chain brake function
• Assess chain condition
• Check fuel pump function
• Test run the machine and check the operation of both the machine and safety system
